Conley and Grizzlies survive excellent Leonard in instant classic

Andrew Harrison had two clutch moments in OT: a blocked shot that led was a five-point swing and two free throws. The Grizzlies also outrebounded the Spurs, 51 to 37. Aldridge finished the game with 13 points and only two rebounds, while Green finished the game with five points and shot 0-6 from three. The Spurs still down in the third quarter made sure the Grizzlies lead would not increase. The Spurs continued to claw away, and LaMarcus Aldrdige had a monsterous dunk-and-one one the fast break as part of a 9-0 to regain the lead at 64-64. The home team has now won and covered the spread in all three games of this series. Toronto's P.J. Tucker helped contain the Bucks' All-Star with physical play in the post in the fourth quarter.

Spurs guard Tony Parker did not register a single point or assist in the 18:58 he was on the court in Game 3. "You get exhausted, somebody else comes in".

An area where it would seem like the Spurs had the upper hand in this game was the rebounding battle, which they won 42-33.

Leonard didn't get to the line 19 times again either.

The Grizzlies needed all of his inspirational effort to withstand the Spurs' assault led by superstar Kawhi Leonard. The Memphis are much more confident coming into the game and it should keep it closer that the prior two times, and I believe the value is on their side.

ABOUT THE SPURS: Leonard is a force and continues to improve offensively and now appears ready to explode and obliterate the previous best scoring postseason of his six-year career of 22.5 set last season. They did look great in the first two games, and should still be expected to win the series. It changed the dynamic of clock management and switched the momentum back to Memphis. He's also hitting 100% of his free throws, which is remarkable considering his suspect shooting coming into the league at in the 15 in the 2011 National Basketball Association draft. The previous record was 32, held by the league's current disciplinarian and Vice President of Basketball Operations, Kiki Vandeweghe. Leonard added eight rebounds, six steals and three assists to his stat line.

Manu Ginobili still can't buy anything in this series. And they stayed on their feet much of the night, funneling their frustration into yelling for the Grizzlies and against the officials.

It's a whole new series as the Grizz pull it to 2-1.
