Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel says his team felt ignored by the football authorities after being made to play Monaco in the Champions League quarter final less than 24 hours after an attack on their bus.

Meanwhile Germany global Marco Reus is set to make his comeback in Saturday's Bundesliga game at home to Eintracht Frankfurt, Tuchel said in Dortmund. Spanish defender Marc Bartra was the only one injured and he had to undergo surgery on his wrist and arms.

Reus, 27, has recovered from a thigh muscle tear against Bayer Leverkusen on March 4.

Tuchel was less than impressed with UEFA's decision to move the game to Wednesday, saying BVB were never even consulted which made them feel powerless in the matter. The team did not feel in the mood, in which you must be for such a game. It makes us incredibly sad but also incredibly fortunate to be standing here today, especially when you hear the details that are coming out (from the investigation).

"The team wanted so badly a bit of time to deal with it so we were in our best shape because the dream is to go to the semifinals in Europe".

"I am happy first that I am alive", Sokratis told ESPN FC in the mixed zone.

They also found three copies of a note at the scene of the blasts, which demanded the withdrawal of German Tornado reconnaissance jets that are assisting the fight against the Islamic State group and the closure of the US Ramstein Air Base in Germany, Koehler said.

Syria dispersed warplanes, retains chemical weapons
Mattis also reiterated that the USA believed Syria had retained some chemical weapons. Mattis also met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem.

"Last night, last evening, we felt how it is like to be in a situation like this".

Uefa issued a statement which read: "We were in touch with all parties and never received any information which suggested that any of the teams did not want to play". He said, "We are human beings and there is so much more than football in this world".

He said on Scandinavian TV: " I don't know if people can understand this, but until I was on the pitch in the second half I did not think about football to be honest.

"Both sets of players deserve great credit because they performed really well in a really entertaining game".

I get goosebumps. When you were in the bus last night, I can't forget the faces. "But UEFA put on pressure and politicians urged Borussia Dortmund to counter terror", he told Sky news channel, referring to the European football federation.

Bayern, seeking a seventh victory from their last eight league games, are effectively three wins away from taking the title but it could come earlier if they keep winning and second placed RB Leipzig stumble.

Tuchel said the club left it to the players whether or not to play.
