The leader of Britain's Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn says he could suspend British involvement in air strikes against Syria if he was elected prime minister at a June 8 election.

In his first visit to Scotland during the 2017 general election, the Labour leader will also attempt to entice Scots back to his party, which suffered a catastrophic defeat at the last general election, losing 40 of its 41 seats in the region. Polls have suggested that May is on course for a sweeping victory which could extend her majority in parliament to more than 100 seats.

YouGov for The Sunday Times has the Conservatives on 48%, 23 points ahead of Labour on 25% while Opinium for The Observer puts the Tories on 45% with a 19-point advantage over Labour on 26%.

United Kingdom opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn has said that a government formed by his Labour Party would seek to create four new nationwide bank holidays, the media reported.

"We are having that discussion in the Labour Party and we will produce our manifesto early in May".

Meanwhile, the Conservatives have confirmed that a policy to cap energy bills will be in their manifesto.

However, Blair said he "wasn't totally sure" what Labour's position was on Brexit.

The government has been ratcheting up the pressure on Britain's so-called Big Six utilities for months, trying to encourage them to take voluntary measures to rein in gas and power prices. "It may mean, by the way, that they vote Tory, for candidates who are prepared to give this commitment". His announcement of his intention to increase taxes on those earning over £70,000 is an extremely popular one, with 64% supporting a raise in income tax for those earning over £70,000.

Jeremy Corbyn has appealed for Scottish voters to return to Labour as he pledged to fight for workers against "vicious" Conservative attacks.

"These holidays will be a chance for workers to spend time with their families, in their communities and with their friends", Mr Corbyn said. The Bank of England concluded that such a move as would be "roughly neutral" for the economy, Corbyn said. He also didn't fully answer a question on whether there would be any circumstances under which he would order the firing of nuclear missiles.

We will never know for sure what led the Prime Minister to make, as Nicola Sturgeon calls it, "one of the most extraordinary U-turns in recent political history".

He ruling Conservative Party is set to win around 50 percent of the vote, double that of the opposition Labor party. Polls show the party with 11 to 12 percent support. Blair said that if Theresa May won a landslide, as the polls now suggest, the Conservatives would read it as a mandate for "Brexit at any costs" - and voters concerned about the risks of leaving the European Union should press every candidate to ask whether they had an open mind about whether the final deal was in Britain's interests.
