Facebook is now saying that a man suspected of fatally shooting another man in Cleveland posted a video of the killing on Facebook, but did not broadcast it live. Stephens then shoots him, gets back into his vehicle and leaves, authorities say.
His mother told CNN that when she saw Stephens for the last time on Saturday, he said it would be a miracle if she ever saw him again.
"She's the reason that this is about to happen to you", Stephens tells Godwin before pointing a gun at him.
Suspect Steve Stephens, 37, stands charged with Sunday's aggravated murder of 74-year-old Robert Godwin, and authorities say he could be in Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana or MI.
Police in Cleveland are searching for a man who broadcast the fatal shooting of a "random" victim live on Facebook. Stephens' Facebook page also was eventually removed.
And nine schools were locked down Monday in Philadelphia, a more than six-hour drive from Cleveland, as police investigated possible sightings of Stephens.
The video was posted around 2 p.m. Sunday.

The search has expanded to other states, and residents of Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, Michigan and OH, in particular, were asked to be on the alert.
Stephens is a black male who is 6-foot-1 and weighs 244 pounds.

In another video, Stephens can be seen bumping fists and high-fiving other revelers in the street excited about the win.
"This is a horrific crime, and we do not allow this kind of content on Facebook", a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement.
Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams says Lane is cooperating with authorities and is being protected.
Stephens worked at Beech Brook, a behavioral health agency headquartered in Pepper Pike, near Cleveland.

Beech Brook spokeswoman Nancy Kortemeyer said Sunday that news of the shooting shocked and horrified the agency. The video has caused a social media uproar in according to our sister paper, the Cleveland Scene, with people reporting to have spotted Stephens in various locations while alleging he's on a murderous rampage.
"It's not real. (My father) was a good guy". His son, Robert Godwin Jr., told reporters, "I haven't watched the video".
