"They say still that it is not very safe, but they can not put forward convincing arguments", Russia's top diplomat said.

Hours after the military operation, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his support for the U.S. air strike, calling the use of chemical weapons "unacceptable".
It was the first direct United States military action against Assad's forces since the start of Syria's civil war six years ago and led to a quick downward spiral in ties between Washington and Moscow.
Assad has consistently denied using chemical weapons at any point during Syria's six year civil war.
