Russian Federation "agreed to be the guarantor of the elimination of the chemical weapons and why Russian Federation has not been able to achieve that is unclear to me", Mr Tillerson said on Sunday.

"Tonight, I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched".
