U.S. 'will honour' refugee deal with Australia that Trump called 'dumb'
During a visit to the headquarters of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Jakarta, Pence said Trump will attend three regional summits in November: a U.S. "Commanders are always considering a full range of options to protect against any contingencies", Pentagon Spokeswoman Dana White said. But the Navy admitted Tuesday the ships were in fact sent in the opposite direction - away from Singapore and toward Australia to conduct drills with the Australian navy.
