Four students injured in experimental rocket explosion at University of Idaho
An unknown type of fuel and a galvanized metal pipe were reportedly placed on top of a wooden pallet in a parking lot near the UI steam plants. The injured individuals were transported to Gritman Medical Center after the incident. Additional information about their condition was not known Thursday night. The university said in a statement that the explosion occurred at around 9:52 p.m.in the parking lot next to the steam plant at the Moscow campus.
