The wedding was attended by prominent personalities including Tony Blair, Ban-ki-Moon and Sundar Pichai.

The bride and groom too made quite a statement - Akash Ambani in a dark bandhgala, and Shloka Mehta in a heavily embellished sari.

Looks like Lara Dutta was on a photo-clicking spree and is seen posing here with her hubby Mahesh Bhupathi and Sahil Sangha. Mrs. Ambani's performance was enhanced by the musical fountain and light show at the newly-inaugurated Dhirubhai Ambani Square.

INSIDE PICTURES: Akash Ambani & Shloka Mehta’s Wedding Was Absolutely Dreamy!

While Akash had revealed, "I am truly happy that our friendship has blossomed into love and Shloka and I are getting married, she is a truly special and extremely kind-hearted person". While Akash looked smart in a black kurta with a long embellished jacket, Shloka wore a golden ensemble. The wedding ceremony was preceded by many days of pre-wedding celebrations such as the Sangeet ceremony, Mehendi ceremony, pre-wedding bash in Switzerland and so on. She opted for a pink, silk saree for the evening. (Source: APH Images) Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta posed for the shutterbugs.

Cricketers seen were Sachin Tendulkar with wife Anjali, Harbhajan Singh with wife Geeta Basra and daughter, Zaheer Khan with wife Sagarika Ghatge, and Yuvraj Singh.

Akash is the oldest son of India's richest man and Reliance Industries boss, Mukesh Ambani. It was attended by scores of Bollywood celebrities, politicians, and worldwide guests. His twin sister Isha Ambani and her husband Anand Piramal also shook a leg at the pre-wedding festivities. And trust me you, the moment the first few sets of pictures from their wedding were out, we could only gape in wonderment because Akash and Shloka complemented each other in every sense!
