Former press secretary of the White House Sean Spicer has spoken out after his shock departure from the presidential team.
Trump's social-media send-off for Spicer came hours after the White House press secretary announced his resignation, which came shortly after Anthony Scaramucci was brought on as Trump's communications director.
Mr Scaramucci quickly took centre stage, parrying questions from reporters and praising Mr Trump in a 37-minute charm offensive.
So, who is the guy who sent Mr Spicer packing from the White House and once called Mr Trump a "hack"?
Mr Scaramucci is now senior vice-president of the Export-Import Bank, a USA government agency which guarantees loans for foreign buyers of American exports.
Sean Spicer only served six months as White House Press Secretary.
In a stunning Friday shakeup, Scaramucci was named the new communications director, replacing Michael Dubke.
Spicer had long sought the strategic communications job for himself and had been managing that role along with his press secretary duties for almost two months.
White House aides were said to be shocked that Spicer resigned instead of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who Trump had just thrown under the New York Times paper truck.
Scaramucci, a Republican fundraiser and founder of Skybridge Capital, was earlier offered the post of U.S. ambassador to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris. Within the first week of Trump's presidency, Spicer had twice tweeted out a string of characters which somewhat resembled the format of a password. Scaramucci said to laughter, referring to the president.
CBO: Revised Senate health bill still leaves 22 million uninsured
McConnell has set aside this bill for now, saying that he plans to bring a different measure to a vote next week. All Democrats are against the plan and Republicans were already down one vote in Sen.
For example, when Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey was sacked by the President in May, Spicer had seemingly been briefed to say that Trump acted on the recommendations of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
"I will cherish and hope to do my very best every single day and be as open, honest, and transparent with you all as humanly possible", Huckabee Sanders said.
Scaramucci described his relationship with White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus as a brotherly one in which they rough each other up but are good friends, Brennan reported.
"I was increasingly disappointed in how so many members of the media do their job, or rather don't do their job", he said.
He was also was mocked mercilessly on late-night comedy show "Saturday Night Live", where he was portrayed by actress Melissa McCarthy, for his brusqueness during briefings.
He was the communications director and spokesman for the House Budget Committee during the period 2003-5.When George Bush was president he was assistant for media and public affairs at the Office of the United States Trade Representative.
"It looked like a million, million and a half people", Trump had said at the Central Intelligence Agency during his first full day in office.
Her way with a zinger - and her unshakable loyalty to an often unpredictable boss - are big reasons why she became a rising star in President Donald Trump's orbit.
The US president said he was "grateful" to Spicer on behalf of his administration.
The Harvard-educated millionaire is close to Mr. Trump's eldest son, Donald Jr, and respected by Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner - a senior adviser to the president. Oh no, it was the president's new message man, back when he was off-message.
