Less than two weeks after a fire outbreak led to the deaths of at least 79 people in London, the city has recorded yet another fire incident.

In a statement the housing association said the London Frie Brigade were staisfied the block was "a low-fire risk building" following the sfatey checks it carried out.

Inspectors uncovered problems with "gas insulation and door stops", which combined with the presence of flammable cladding meant the buildings were unsafe, council Leader Georgia Gould said in a tweet.

Camden Borough Council says in a statement Saturday that it housed numerous residents at two temporary shelters while many others were provided hotel rooms. Repairs on the building are expected to be completed within three to four weeks.

The London Fire Brigade said it had worked with Camden Council to inspect the buildings on Chalcots Estate. Until now, public attention has been focused on external cladding material that is widely used to provide insulation and enhance the appearance of buildings.

Battling to save her position after losing her majority in a June 8 election, May has promised to do everything she can to protect those residents who survived the fire and to improve the quality and safety of public housing in Britain.

The council said 83 households refused to leave.

"People are very concerned - I've spent most of the day visiting residents around my constituency particularly where there are concerns about cladding".

Brent Council leader Muhammed Butt told Sky News the high-rise block in his area that failed the Government's combustibility test has been checked by the fire service and evacuation was not deemed necessary.

The work included external thermal rain screen cladding on five towers, new aluminium thermally broken windows on five towers, and an overhaul of external roofs. But fire-safety experts have said the blaze was probably due to a string of failures, not just the cladding.

Kushner will also travel to Ramallah, in the Israeli-occupied West Bank , for talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas . Sources from the Palestinian Authority say they had been asked for a list of 12 bullet point demands ahead of the meeting.

The department also said cladding attached to the 24-story public housing project during a recent renovation failed safety tests conducted by investigators, and that police have seized documents from a number of organizations.

The Metropolitan Police, which had launched a criminal investigation into the Grenfell Tower tragedy, has said that detectives are keeping open the option of bringing manslaughter charges relating to the Grenfell fire.

Refurbishment of the Chalcots Estate was overseen by Rydon, the company involved in the refit of Grenfell Tower, according to the Rydon website. McCormack said the Hotpoint model FF175BP refrigerator-freezer had not been subject to any product recalls before the fire.

"I've made the really, really hard decision to move the people living there into temporary accommodation while we do the urgent works to guarantee safety", Gould told reporters outside the public housing complex.

The government has called on all building owners, public and private, to submit samples of their cladding material for testing.

Several local councils said they were removing cladding from the facades of buildings that had failed the tests. At least one hotel chain is calling in experts to make certain its properties meet safety regulations.

Along with local councils, NHS Trusts have also been told to urgently check their buildings to establish whether they are clad in materials used on Grenfell Tower.

Police says 79 people are either dead or missing and presumed dead in the blaze, although that number may change.

A statement released by Downing Street on behalf of Prime Minister Theresa May said: "My thoughts are with residents being evacuated in Camden while their homes are made safe tonight".
