Captain Peter O'Mahony can "lead in the shadows" to drive the British and Irish Lions to a first Test victory against the All Blacks, according to Rob Howley.
Gatland said all three of New Zealand's tries could have been stopped, and believed the Lions warranted more than their two.
Read added: "They're bloody good players in their own right and they play in their own style".
Farrell brought the Lions back into it with a shot at goal in the 32nd minute, but it was soon wiped out by Barrett's second successful penalty.
A scrum just outside the 22 gave them a ideal attacking platform and following a ludicrous offload from Read to scrum-half Aaron Smith the ball found its way to Ioane who raced over in the corner.
After the break, the world champions flexed their muscles, with Ioane crossing for a try in the corner on the back of a dominant scrum from the hosts, and Barrett converting before adding another penalty.
And the double World Cup victor has no doubt where a Lions Test series ranks in terms of career challenges. The full-back ghosted between Aaron Cruden and Sonny Bill Williams in midfield to take play to the halfway line.
Fullback Liam Williams was forced to run the ball out of defence but the field opened up for him and he was able to offload to Davies, who exchanged passes with Daly before getting the ball to O'Brien for the flanker to touch down. The Lions have a team who can do that.
Standing up to the physical All Blacks' juggernaut will be the only way for the British and Irish Lions to bounce back in the Test series, says coach Warren Gatland. Ioane has two Test appearances off the bench against Italy and France previous year.
Surprise, surprise: Cristiano Ronaldo may stay at Real Madrid
Ronaldo, 32, is similarly said to have used a Virgin Islands shell company to to cheat on his taxes - something he denies. Other big names in football have been accused of tax fraud in Spain recently, BBC reports.
"The All Blacks haven't played champagne rugby and thrown the ball all over the place. We need to front up again".
They are wary of a Lions backlash but ominously Hansen warned the All Blacks would only improve.
"When we all came into Munster, we've grown up with the likes of Paul O'Connell, Ronan O'Gara, all these guys".
At last we started to show a little more intent and execution in attack.
"We've created opportunities early on the tour we weren't finishing, but on Tuesday we started to do that". If you go into double figures you're going to struggle. Whilst it will hurt to be the first Lions captain since 1930 not to lead the team out, Warburton will still have a huge role to play.
"We'll go out there and expect to win", he said, as New Zealand wrapped up their training at Auckland's Eden Park.
The All Blacks bulldozed the Lions' scrum - a supposed strength of the tourists - and Kieran Read produced a masterful move at the base of the fast-advancing set-piece.
The match was all the more special for Ioane, playing his first Test on home soil at his home ground of Eden Park. Tonight's Test was always going to be won in the tight five.
"We've got to be extremely proud of what they did".
