At least three people were killed and several others injured in a suicide vehicle bomb attack at a police station in Mogadishu on Thursday, the police confirmed.
Dozens of soldiers were deployed to the scene of the incident.
"We carried seven dead people and 12 others injured from the scene", Abdikadir Abdirahman, director of the Amin ambulance service, told Reuters.

An explosives-laden vehicle rammed the entrance of the police station around midday on Thursday.
Authorities say the attacker was targeting the police station and tried to ram into the front gate, however; the auto blew up next to a wall surrounding the facility.
