Cristiano Ronaldo will not be leaving Real Madrid to join Manchester United or any other club, according to club president Florentino Perez.

Mourinho is yet to comment on his case, but the Spanish authorities must be having a field day with this bunch.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo leave Real Madrid with a huge PSG offer on the table? I am sure he would not want us to pay his fine if there was one.

"I don't think there's anything better than to rely on yourself", Cherchesov said. He's immersed in the Confederations Cup [with Portugal] at the moment, which is an important competition, and for the moment there's nothing until that ends.

But the Portuguese would be costly - his Real contract has a 1bn euro (£874.88m) release clause.

"This is all very unusual". Cristiano is a good guy, I will have to talk with Cristiano and see what's happening. I will defend him as a player and as a human being.

Amazon patent could prevent shoppers from price checking in-store
Whole Foods already has a separate store, called 365, which offers private-label goods and lower prices than its typical formats. With the financial backing of Amazon behind it, it could further delve into this market and support local foods in a real way.

"We know Bernardo very well, he was called up to the national team some time ago in a game against Albania and we won 1-0", he said.

The complaint was quickly followed by reports that Ronaldo has chose to leave Madrid ahead of next season following his tax problems, but Perez is adamant the prolific forward will only be on the move for a huge transfer fee.

Spanish prosecutors said on Tuesday they had filed a claim against Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho on two counts of tax fraud dating back to when he coached Real Madrid.

Insisting that everyone must comply with their tax obligations, the Madrid president remained hopeful that Ronaldo would will meet his tax requirements and that all the confusion would be cleared up soon.

"We want to keep all our players next season, including James", said Perez. "The whole thing is very odd because Cristiano Ronaldo is a great guy, both as a player and a person". Well, it didn't take long for the reports to come out saying the Red Devils are going to pursue the Portuguese forward if he leaves Real Madrid.
