Dubose and Rowe are each charged with two counts of murder in connection with the June 13 shooting deaths of Sgt. Curtis Billue and Sgt. Christopher Monica.
Bradley informed the court that the office will seek the death penalty.
The two Georgia convicts accused of killing a pair of corrections officers on a prison bus last week and then escaping were back in Putnam County Wednesday for a first-appearance hearing in court.
A team of vehicles had escorted the inmates to the Putnam County jail in the early morning, the Macon Journal reported.
The prosecutor said while he has not filed the paperwork yet, he intends to seek the death penalty.
The next grand jury session in Putnam County is September 18.

Curtis Billue's sisters attended the hearing, and they say they forgave the inmates, according to WXIA.
"Due to the nature of these charges, no bond is being set", Trammell told each of the prison inmates, who since have been taken from Putnam County to the Georgia Diagnostic and Class Prison near Jackson.
At least one of the escapees shot and killed the officers, authorities said. They escaped a prison transport and were on the run for a couple of days before surrendering here in Rutherford County.
Dubose and Rowe were captured Thursday in central Tennessee after a homeowner saw the inmates trying to steal his vehicle and called his neighbor. Rowe, already serving a life-without-parole sentence for a string of violent crimes including a Macon armed robbery in 2001, appeared to listen intently, while the younger Dubose seemed aloof. DuBose was imprisoned after being found guilty of armed robbery, aggravated assault, credit card fraud and theft by taking.
"When I first laid eyes on them, all I could do was just, in my mind, just think how could two human beings kill two innocent men who were only doing their jobs?"
