The specifics of the deal, first reported by David Aldridge, appear to be as follows: Boston will take back the third overall pick in this year's draft, as well as the Los Angeles Lakers' pick in the 2018 draft, now owned by the Sixers.
If the Lakers pick does not fall in that range in 2018, the Celtics will choose between the Kings' first-round pick in 2019 (which now belongs to the 76ers) or the 76ers' own first-round pick in 2019.
With the additional draft pick acquired in the deal, the Celtics now have seven selections over the next three years, including picks from Brooklyn (2018), Memphis (2019, protected 1-8), and the LA Clippers (2019, protected 1-14). After much speculation regarding how they'd use the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, general manager Danny Ainge made a decision to send it to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Celtics and Bulls weren't able to work something out then, but it looks like they might be able to now.
Fultz, who just turned 19 on May 29th, averaged 23.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game as a freshman at Washington.

"It's very good value for us, and obviously (Philadelphia) wanted that No. 1 pick", said Ainge. Fultz is the kind of player Ainge and Co. have been waiting for ever since Draft Night in 2013, when the Nets handed over their drafts for the next half-decade for the aging trio of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry.
The Lakers have been linked to Ball throughout the entire draft process, but also really like Josh Jackson.
Colangelo said he had discussed the Lakers' 2018 pick, which former GM Sam Hinkie secured for Michael Carter-Williams, with Celtics assistant GM Mike Zarren for "a year and a half, it seems".
"I think they're both terrific players", Ainge said. The Sixers used the No. 1 pick past year on Ben Simmons, who missed the entire season because of a foot injury.
