Several people were injured in Finsbury Park today after a van rammed into worshippers leaving a mosque, witnesses said, in what British police described as a "major incident".
Numerous victims are believed to have just finished worshipping at the Finsbury Park mosque after breaking the Ramadan fast.
"There has been one person arrested", the police service adds.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing police give emergency heart massage to at least one of the injured. "I didn't see the attacker himself, although he seems to have been arrested, but I did see the van".

While aides have advised Trump to stay off Twitter, the president continued to weigh in on the widening legal investigations Sunday.

Condemning the incident, Prime Minister Theresa May said: "This is a awful incident", adding, "All my thoughts are with those who have been injured, their loved ones, and the emergency services on the scene".
The leader of Britain's opposition Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, said in a statement on Twitter he was "totally shocked" by the incident.
Eight people were killed and 50 injured on June 3 when three Islamist militants drove into pedestrians on London Bridge and stabbed people at nearby restaurants and bars.
Manchester was also hit by a severe attack when a bomber killed more than 20 people at an Ariana Grande concert.
