But in an interview with TMZ after yesterday's final at Oakland, The Game didn't hold back, saying the defeat to Warriors has tarnished LeBron James' playoffs legacy puts MJ and Kobe Bryant ahead of him FOREVER. I just wanted to put it all out there.

He walked away from a city, shoot, an entire state that treasured him, and a franchise committed and close to winning a title, to join an all-star team nearly guaranteed a championship.

He's been to seven straight NBA Finals, having won three of them with two different teams - Miami and Cleveland.

LeBron James lost his fifth NBA Finals, but it surely wasn't due to a lack of effort, as he became the first player ever to average a triple-double in the NBA Finals series.

This series clearly showed that the Warriors are the best basketball team in the league, and maybe all time. Congrats Kevin Durant on your 1st NBA Championship win!

"It's just a great group of guys, great community, great arena, great fans", Durant said.

Finals MVP Durant - who swapped the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Warriors in search of an elusive championship - has a player option for 2017-18, while star guard Curry is coming off contract.

That would be his mom, Wanda Durant, who he proclaimed was the "real MVP" immediately after winning the award of regular season MVP in 2014.

Vijayan had earlier held a meeting with the protesters and appealed to them not to prevent the ongoing works at the terminal. George said during the protest on Sunday, police could spot some people who have links with terrorists.

Durant said the Rihanna dustup - Durant appeared to stare her down after he hit a late three-pointer in Game 1 - was a personal highlight during the Finals.

He also added 8.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists a game. The commissioner believes in celebrating excellence and using Golden State as a way to raise the bar.

Then they got Durant, who after the buzzer sounded did a little shake with Curry on the court before they slapped hands several times.

Though the Warriors have not yet released a statement as to why they are refusing the trip, players have publicly criticized President Trump for many of his policies.

Cleveland battled back to keep the score close heading into the fourth quarter, but Golden State proved to be too much down the stretch.

A year ago, these Warriors fell short after a record-setting season that included a 24-0 start and 73 victories at the end to break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' wins mark.

"I'm happy for him", Curry said. They banded together and played big to small.
