Miss Sturgeon has admitted that she would prop Jeremy Corbyn up in government - but suggested she would hold him hostage by negotiating on a "policy by policy" basis.
Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale dismissed the comments, saying Mr Corbyn had ruled out doing any such deal with the SNP.
The SNP leader said there were many challenges facing the country and she was said independence in itself was not the answer to all of them.
"That's why in the final few days before polling day I'll be campaigning alongside 30 hardworking SNP candidates standing up for communities across Scotland".
"Is it more helpful, or do you want a bunch of right-wing Scottish Labour MPs who are just going to undermine Jeremy Corbyn and prevent him from forming a progressive alternative?"
Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Ms Sturgeon said: "If there was to be a hung parliament, if the parliamentary arithmetic allowed it, then I would want the SNP to be part of a progressive alternative to a Conservative government".
The poll by Survation, commissioned by the Sunday Post, found that once undecided voters were stripped out Scottish Labour were on 25%, up eight points from a similar poll on April 23.
Tory deputy leader Jackson Carlaw said: "Once again this poll shows that the Scottish Conservatives are best-placed to take the fight to the SNP at this election". Yet Labour have consistently opposed a second referendum as well as the idea of supporting independence, leaving many younger voters with split loyalties.
She said the election on Thursday was the "last chance to stop Nicola Sturgeon in her tracks".

As she campaigned in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, the First Minister said: "There is a possibility as we see the polls narrow that we could deny Theresa May a majority, and certainly deny her a bigger majority, which is why she called this election".
The SNP are on 40% (down three points) while the Tories are on 27% (down one point) and the Lib Dems are on 6% (down three points).
But with just four full days of campaigning left, there is all to play for, as almost half of Scots voters say they are prepared to vote tactically in the crunch election.
"Any Tory MPs elected in Scotland will simply rubberstamp whatever the Tory government does to young people, and Labour can't win this election in Scotland - meaning that voting Labour risks letting Tory MPs in by the back door".
"We were then told that the United Kingdom is a family of nations and Scotland's voice would be heard, that the Prime Minister wouldn't trigger Article 50 until there had been a United Kingdom position".
Alison Johnstone MSP says that Greens will go to Westminster with a pledge to stand up for everyone's "right to live with dignity".
Among the SNP figures who would be thrown out of Parliament is Angus Robertson, the deputy leader.
The survey was carried out two weeks ago, before the Manchester attack and the row over the Conservative manifesto's so-called "dementia tax".
