"After 7 months of investigations & committee hearings about my 'collusion with the Russians, ' nobody has been able to show any proof".

Trump disputes the investigation as a "witch hunt" on Twitter, as he did both Thursday and Friday, and he does the same thing in private conversations, associates told Politico.

In a series of early morning tweets on Thursday, Mr Trump wrote: "You are witnessing the single greatest WITCH HUNT in American political history - led by some very bad and conflicted people!".

"If he fires Mueller, I will tell you, we are right on the brink of a constitutional crisis", the IL senator said.

The president's tweets came two years to the day after Trump first launched his improbable presidential bid by famously descending an escalator in Trump Tower in NY, and while his presidency is embroiled in crisis over the federal investigation led by Mueller into his campaign's ties to Russian Federation. He said he believed Trump had directed him to drop a related agency investigation into the president's former national security adviser, Michael Flynn. It cited five people briefed on the requests by Mueller's team who spoke on condition of anonymity.

As recently as Monday morning, the panel on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" ripped Trump for his continuous rants on Twitter, with co-host Mika Brzezinski saying, "He can't help himself".

Trump policy on Cuba includes new restrictions on travel, business
Moran, whose state has nearly 46 million acres devoted to farm operations, has backed legislation to restore trade with Cuba. Noting Raul Castro and his close advisers are in their 80s, Rubio said Cuba would soon have a new generation of leaders.

Rosenstein has said he is poised to recuse himself if he finds himself as a potential witness to Mueller's probe, meaning the top two officials at Justice would be on the sidelines for the Russian Federation investigation.

Mr Comey told a Senate panel last week he believed Mr Trump fired him to undermine the FBI's Russian Federation probe and testified that the President directed him in February to drop an investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn in relation to the Russian Federation matter.

US Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller last month, on Tuesday testified that he has seen no evidence of good cause to fire Mueller. "My decision", Trump told Holt, a day after the White House had said the president fired Comey based on a recommendation from Rosenstein.

"The Vice-President is focused entirely on his duties and promoting the President's agenda and looks forward to a swift conclusion of this matter", a Pence spokesman said.

"We may have our differences, but we do well in times like these to remember that everyone who serves in our nation's capital is here because above all they love our country", Trump said at the White House.
