On Wednesday during exit interviews, Kevin Durant dismissed the notion that the Golden State Warriors are constructed as a superteam.
The Warriors took the championship title away from the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, winning Game 5 129-120 and the series 4-1.
Green wore a T-shirt that read, "Quickie", with the "Q" styled to mimic the logo on the Cavs' Quicken Loans Arena, which is referred to as The Q. Green told NBC Bay Area that the shirt reflected the Warriors' quick win over the Cavaliers.
Golden State beat Cleveland in the 2015 Finals only to lose to them previous year, squandering a 3-1 series lead. And he looks forward to the nice payday.
NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant rode on a different bus with his mom.
"It would mean everything".
One of the team's most high-profile stars, Stephen Curry, told reporters, however, that he doesn't want to go. "This is something that we want to continue to do, but for us to have these conversations that we had nearly a year ago and now being in this position, worth every shot we took in practice, fighting through injuries that he had this year, and it's an unbelievable feeling". It is a business. There are decisions that need to be made every single year, and you have to assess the situation as it is. Superteam? No, we just work extremely well together.
The Warriors went 15-1 in this year's postseason, with sweeps in the first three rounds before beating LeBron James and the Cavaliers in five games in the Finals. That, along with the teams' two regular season meetings, will offer Rihanna the opportunity to again cheer for James while she jaws with Durant. "It's easier said than done obviously, but that's the goal". Klay Thompson, he was just supposed to be this OK shooter in the league, like that's what you thought of Klay Thompson when he came in.

DUP leader Arlene Foster , who travelled to Westminster for talks with the Tories on Tuesday, said she hoped a deal could be reached "sooner rather than later".
The Warriors, who beat Cleveland in the 2015 Finals only to lose to them a year ago after squandering a 3-1 series lead, went a record-setting 16-1 in the playoffs, their only loss coming in Game Four of the best-of-seven championship. You can't go back and forth or teeter on the fence, you have to beat them.
"I know our front office is going to continue to try to put our ball club, put our franchise, in a position where we can compete for a championship year in and year out", James said. Well see what happens.
"I played against some really, really good teams that were assembled perfectly, and they're right up there".
Kerr has been a vocal critic of Trump since Trump's election.
Nearly as soon as the final buzzer sounded on Monday night and Golden State became the 2017 NBA champions, many followers of both basketball and politics began to wonder whether or not the Warriors would take part in the White House visit that traditionally comes with winning a championship in a North American sport.
Coach Steve Kerr cried.
"We're going to do what our leader [Curry] does", he said. Now after winning their second title in the past three years this past Monday, the franchise is considering foregoing attending the ceremonial visit to the White House customarily extended to the current National Basketball Association champion and other professional and college championship teams. And different kinds of ceremonies and traditions that have happened around championship winning teams, we don't want that to taint what we accomplished this year.
