Addressing the 17th conference of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Kazakhstan's Astana city on Friday, President Ashraf Ghani called for joint efforts against terrorism and said those countries which differentiate between good terrorists and bad terrorists will pay the price for it. The new of the murders came out before the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) Astana summit and triggered deep disappointment and grief among the Chinese public.
President Jinping said China and India, as the two largest developing countries in the world, should focus more on cooperation, advance side by side, lend support to each other's development, uphold world peace and promote common development.
In the presence of Pakistan Prime Minister & Chinese President Xi Jinping among others, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that in such a grouping sovereignty & territorial integrity are the key factors for better cooperation.
Pakistan, which was admitted to SCO as full member in Astana, Kazakhstan on Friday, had been an Observer with SCO since 2005.
We are achieving full membership today, but India has been nurturing and maintaining good historic relations with every SCO member.
As per reports, India abstained from the summit to highlight its concerns over the United States dollars 50 billion CPEC which is part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and passes through Gilgit and Baltistan in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

More, the state-run media in China emphasised Xi's meetings with leaders from India and Russian Federation.
News of their kiling was published just before the SCO summit on June 8-9, in which Pakistan and India were made members.
