"With Jeremy Corbyn saying he is "absolutely fine" with another independence referendum, voters know that Labour can't be trusted on the union", the spokesperson told BuzzFeed News.
Mr Corbyn has had a bumpy ride in Scotland, with Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale openly opposing him at last year's leadership contest, when she backed Owen Smith.
Speaking about Scotland's place in the Brexit negotiations, Sturgeon said Scotland had voted No in the 2014 independence referendum in part "to protect its place in the EU".

Scottish Labour are on 25 per cent in Scotland, up eight points according to a poll of 1024 people conducted by Survation in Scotland between May 31 and June 2.
She was asked if she thinks the United Kingdom will have broken up by 2025, Ms Sturgeon replied: "I think Scotland will be independent, yes, but, you know, that's a choice for the Scottish people".
A majority of supporters of all parties think independence is the First Minister's priority, running from 55 per cent for those who voted SNP in 2015, to 85 per cent for Lib Dem supporters.
"This poll clearly shows that her popularity is in freefall because voters want her to get on with the day job", he said.
A spokesman for the Scottish Conservatives said: "With its endless threat of a referendum re-run, nothing poses more of a threat to family incomes in Scotland than the SNP".
