The comedian said on Friday she may be facing a Secret Service investigation for posing with a bloodied and detached Donald Trump head, an image that both Democrats and Republicans have condemned. A sitting president of the US and his grown children and the First Lady are personally trying to ruin my life forever. "So I know she made her mistake or whatever, and we're all going to make mistakes, but you need us, man, because we're there to make you laugh".

"I'm not good at being appropriate", she said. She and those like her are not really resisting Trump, however, as much as they are engaged in a collective tantrum. It's in your face.

The president said she should be "ashamed of herself", the first lady questioned Griffin's mental health while Trump's daughter-in-law Lara blasted the comic on Hannity Wednesday night.

"I'm not afraid of Trump", she said.

After all, Griffin was the one who - in an alleged joking manner - held up a fake severed head of President Trump.

Earlier this week, CNN said Griffin would no longer co-host its live New Year's Eve special from Times Square and another show was canceled at a New Mexico casino.

In a series of tweets, Baldwin, who frequently impersonates Trump on Saturday Night Live, recalled his own experience making a joke about a politician. Melania Trump said their 11-year-old son Barron was distressed when he saw the photo on the news.

No Dinner First? Corbyn botches a High Five
It's unclear how this will all turn out, but Corbyn has demonstrated the mass appeal of a candidate with socialist inclinations. Britain's Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn was celebrating a strong election night showing when something went terribly wrong.

But in Friday's press conference she said, "it's not right", explaining that she's been getting explicit and detailed death threats.

A New Mexico theatre also canned Griffin's show, while she also lost an endorsement deal with toilet stool company Squatty Potty.

Flanked by civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom, a tearful Griffin said she stands by her original apology for the gruesome photo she shared on social media Tuesday.

However, WATE 6 On Your Side legal analyst Greg Isaacs said she could potentially face legal action.

Griffin's attorney says she never imagined it would be misinterpreted as a threat of violence.

She later apologized by posting a 31-second video message, where she admitted that she went "too far".

Kathy Griffin has faced controversies before for her abrasive humor, but none as widespread as the one generated by Tuesday's images.
