Their confidence shaken after Sri Lanka effortlessly out-batted them in a high-scoring encounter, the Indian team and Kohli, in particular, will be keen to ensure that South Africa are continued to be known as "chokers".

The fourth and fifth run outs by India in this tournament sent a shiver through the South Africans that they couldn't shake off.

Pakistan's former captain and senior ODI player Mohammad Hafeez has said that Pakistan is looking forward to the virtual quarter-final of ICC Champions Trophy against Sri Lanka on Monday. A third one could well be on the cards as both India and South Africa boast of top-class batsmen.

South African skipper AB de Villiers is not perturbed that South Africa are batting first.

They were bowled out for 191.

Fortunately for Kohli, India were able to feast on a South Africa team bereft of confidence after a lacklustre midweek loss to Pakistan. In India vs South Africa, it could be considered as one of the important point as well.

Nervous times for May as Labour eats away at lead
ORB said May's lead had increased from six percentage points in its previous poll which was published on May 27. It would have been easy for me as prime minister to stay on and keep a hand on the job.

Hashim Amla never got into his stride and escaped early on when Hardik Pandya dropped a simple catch off his own bowling.

But Amla, in particular, struggled for his usual fluency and timing at the crease, and so it was no surprise when he eventually fell for 35 in the 18th over, edging the returning Ravichandran Ashwin (1-43) - playing his first game of the tournament - behind. The left-handed batsman scored a 72-ball fifty before he was bowled by Ravindra Jadeja.

South Africa's innings ended in another mix-up which saw Imran Tahir run out in the 45th over to leave India a modest target of 192 to reach the final four.

Ahead of the big match, AB de Villiers spoke to media and said that he is still in good form and he is hitting the ball very well.

The pair put on 128 for the second wicket before Dhawan was caught, but the damage had always been done to South Africa's hopes.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah both picked up two wickets while Pandya, Ashwin and Jadeja all chipped in with a wicket each.
