Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn said he thought there could be another election soon, after the vote on Thursday produced no clear victor and left Ms May under pressure from her own backbench and allies.
The Labour leader also said he thought it was quite possible there could be an election later this year, or early next year, which he thought "might be a good thing".
Users of Twitter and Facebook noticed a discrepancy between the words emblazoned on the seven-year-old DUP election poster and plans for the two parties to work together following last week's hung parliament.
London, Jun 11 labour leader Jeremy Corbyn feels he can "still be the prime minister" and indicated today that the United Kingdom could face another election as beleaguered Theresa May's attempt to stitch an alliance to run a minority government after suffering a poll debacle has not yet fructified.
In calling for early elections, May said she wanted a strong mandate as her government confronts what are likely to be hard negotiations with the European Union on the terms of Brexit.
He added, "I don't think Theresa May and this government have any credibility". But not for some time, let's get this clear.
George Osborne called Theresa May a "dead woman walking".
. "It's just how long she's going to remain on death row", former Conservative finance minister George Osborne, who was sacked by May when she became prime minister a year ago, told the BBC.May has confirmed five of her most senior ministers will remain in their pre-election roles, but has yet to announce whether there will be any changes to other jobs within her top team of ministers, known as the cabinet.
But for now, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson says reports of a plot to remove May herself is "tripe".
But Johnson reacted to media speculation on Twitter by dismissing any rebellion: "I am backing Theresa May".

After the cameras showed Gareth Southgate going mental, they showed Gordon Strachan , who reacted like every single Scotland fan in the world.
A visibly relaxed Corbyn, asked whether he would be in his own job over the long term, joked that "I've got youth on my side".
Mr Fallon, who is one of Ms May's most loyal supporters, said he disagreed with Mr Osborne's description of her as a "dead woman walking" and he expected Conservative MPs to rally behind her.
"The Prime Minister thanked Mr Kenny for helping to make UK-Ireland relations stronger than ever, wished him well for the future and said she looked forward to continuing a close relationship with his successor".
The Tory Party will need the support of the Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) to be able to govern.
A DUP statement further confirmed that discussions would continue this week.
Then, after midnight, Downing Street responded, saying: "The Prime Minister has tonight spoken with the DUP to discuss finalising a confidence and supply deal when Parliament returns next week".
Many critics, including Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson, have expressed concerns over the DUP's stances against gay marriage and abortion, among other issues.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May was clinging to power by her fingernails on Sunday after losing her parliamentary majority in last Thursday's election, as an agreement with the minority Democratic Unionist Party that would keep the Conservatives in power was still not finalized.
Meanwhile, DUP leader Arlene Foster has said that talks were ongoing, indicating it may not be such a smooth process after all.
In the meantime, we can note that the average increase in turnout was just over a point higher in constituencies with more young voters than elsewhere.
