Getting Swept by the Warriors Will Have No Impact on LeBron's Legacy

In the middle of the Finals, with his team's season on the line and within the flow of the game, James had executed an alley-oop to himself off the backboard. That average has fallen down by almost 25 points against this stingy Warriors defense in the first two games.

The Warriors withstood big games from LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, who combined for 77 points-the most scored by a duo in a Finals loss in National Basketball Association history. Guys are loving the game, our fans are loving the game.

Watching the clip in its entirety, it mostly looks like LeBron is focused and collected, and definitely not about to admit to fatigue or hand out compliments to his opponents just hours before Game 3. "And that was just - it's a make-or-miss league at that point".

UN condemns Hamas for tunnel under schools in Gaza
The Israeli military said Palestinians rolled burning tires and hurled rocks at soldiers stationed on the border. Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum denied the tunnel belonged to his or any other Gaza militant group.

The Warriors struggled coming out of the gate in Game 2.

One loss from his fifth defeat in 8 NBA Finals appearances, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is matter-of-fact about his legacy, living in the moment and having nothing left to prove. In this way, like so many other ways, LeBron James stands alone. But they are not invincible. If they took better care of the ball and hit another five three's a game and you can easily see the Warriors' 20-point leads melt away.

Klay Thompson added 30 points and Stephen Curry had 26 for the Warriors, who are one win from a second title in three years. Lest we forget, this the same Kyrie that torched a fully healthy Spurs for 57 points in the 2014-15 regular season. They'll eventually need to make some pretty significant decisions on luxury tax bills, but there's reason to believe that they will be this good for another couple of years at least. The likelihood of a similar chain of events occurring is terribly bleak.

Paul Pierce made a bold statement after the Warriors won Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Cavaliers. He's done all of this damage with LeBron James as his primary defender, leaving some to wonder if it's better to have someone else check Durant to conserve James' energy. They won a championship, and a year ago it was the greatest regular-season team we had played, probably one of the best postseason teams that everybody's ever seen as well, but we were just able to overcome that.
