During his speech Trump specifically noted the Little Sisters of the Poor, telling the audience that they finally won their case against the Obama administration.
Trump also denied asking Comey for a pledge of loyalty during one of a string of private meetings.
Recounting a February 14 White House meeting where Trump pressed the director to drop the FBI's inquiry into national security adviser Michael Flynn, Comey said a decision was made not to report the incident to Sessions.
But he repeated his assertion that portions of Comey's testimony were untrue.
