Conway, about 24 hours earlier, had mocked reporters for paying so much to what Trump says on Twitter while paying much less attention to what he does as president. Over the weekend, Trump tweeted after the recent London terrorist act, criticizing a statement by the London Mayor. And, as Politico reports, a new poll shows that the majority of American voters - including the majority of Republican voters - agree on one thing: The president tweets too damn much.

The first public plea came from an unexpected quarter: George Conway, a longtime Trump friend and husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway. And in a White House where you don't often have news conferences or opportunities to talk with the president either one-on-one or in a group setting, the tweets are really important to reflect his thinking.

Political experts argue social media helped Mr. Trump win the White House. AFP | US President Donald Trump punched back Friday against James Comey, accusing the ousted Federal Bureau of Investigation director of lying about their private conversations - and saying he is "100 percent" willing to testify under oath.

Additionally, the poll was taken before Trump sent out a bevvy of tweets defending his controversial travel ban, which may now trip up the executive order's chances of passing Supreme Court muster. These are serious words coming out of the highest office holder in the land, and all that this bot does is just give those messages the proper honor they deserve. These are statements of the president.

Although Democrats were most likely to express concerns about the president's tweeting and its potential impacts, some Republicans also appeared to have reservations about Trump's Twitter use.

About 75 percent of Venezuelans lost an average of 19 pounds past year , according to the National Poll of Living Conditions. The bonds had been in the possession of Venezuela's central bank since they were issued in a private placement in late 2014.

A majority of American voters - including some Republicans - said they disapprove of President Donald Trump's use of Twitter and are concerned that his tweets could hurt the United States' national security and global standing, according to a poll released Wednesday.

Trump has been insistent that it's the news media whose at fault for the negative portrayal of his tweets.

They separately wrote the White House counsel Don McGahn asking whether the recordings exist, and if so, that they be produced to the committee by June 23.

"I think we've made it clear with respect to that that the courts should follow the law", he said. Trump even publicly claimed their statements couldn't always be accurate, because he's such a dynamic, freewheeling president.
