One item at issue, the attorney general's office said, was that the Eric Trump Foundation has rebranded itself "Curetivity" and held a fundraiser under that name.

"We are looking into issues at the foundation raised by the report", Eric Soufer, a spokesman for the attorney general's office, said in an email.
The New York State Attorney General's Office said it is investigating Eric Trump's charity after a recent report claimed $100,000 raised for child cancer research was funneled back into the Trump Organization.
"The attorney general's office is looking into the issues raised by this report", said Eric Soufer, the communications director for the NY state attorney general. Therefore, most of the donations went directly toward benefiting children with cancer.
The publication also found a number of Eric Trump Foundation payments to other charities - some of which in turn paid the Trump Organization for charity events of their own at its golf courses - that coincided with the appointment of 14 new foundation board members, "the majority of whom owed all or much of their livelihoods to the Trump Organization".

"During the past decade, the Eric Trump Foundation has raised over $16.3 million for St. Jude Children's Research hospital while maintaining an expense ratio of just 12.3 percent".
"We get to use our assets 100% free of charge", Trump told Forbes. "Meanwhile, Trump businesses billed the Trump campaign, fueled by small outside donors, more than $11 million to use his properties, chefs and private aircraft".
'Mr Trump had a cow. "He said, 'I don't care if it's my son or not - everybody gets billed'".
Jude Classic golf tournament Wednesday, a St. Jude spokesperson and Richard Shadyac, CEO of the hospital's fundraising arm ALSAC, declined comment on the Forbes report.
On Twitter, Eric Trump also attacked the allegations, citing his total donations of more than $16 million to St. Jude in recent years.
Forbes also noted in the article that after "reviewing filings from the Eric Trump Foundation and other charities, it's clear that the course wasn't free - that the Trump Organization received payments for its use, part of more than $1.2 million that has no documented recipients past the Trump Organization". New York's top cop isn't calling it an investigation, he said.
