"This will be our fastest and most powerful Mac ever, which brings workstation-class computing to iMac for the first time", said John Ternus, Apple's vice president of Hardware Engineering.

Radeon Pro 500 graphics also support GPU acceleration through OpenCL across creative applications like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro now has a 2.9 GHz seventh-generation i7 processor replacing the sixth-generation 2.7 GHz Core i7 processor on its predecessor.

Pro users would want to upgrade the system memory to at least 16GB which costs $340; going to the maximum 32GB sets you back $680, and adding a fast newly developed solid 512GB state drive is $510.

Apple iMac has been launched with a 21.5-inch display and a 21.5-inch iMac Retina 4K display and a 27-inch iMac Retina 4K display.

As for the software running on all these machines, WWDC also saw Apple announce macOS High Sierra, the successor to last year's Sierra. But the iMac Pro will have desktop Xeons with 8-, 10-, or 18 cores per chip - which won't be available from Intel until later this year (with new branding like credit cards). SSD storage options are now up to 50 percent faster, and iMac comes with Thunderbolt 3, the most powerful and versatile port ever. The base model of the iMac will have the Intel Iris Plus Graphics that is claimed to be 80% faster than the previous generation GPU.

Herculean LeBron effort not enough for Cavs
They're a juggernaut of a team, do a great job of spacing out the floor, keeping a high tempo, and just made some big-time plays down the stretch.

At today's WWDC event in San Jose, California, Apple announced incremental updates to its iMac and MacBook Pro lineup.

It's unfortunate AMD wasn't able to lock down both halves of the iMac Pro design. The new iMacs are available for purchase now. In this article though, let us take a look at the new refreshed MacBook Pro lineup that goes on sale in the USA today.

Talking about the new MacBook, it enables support for up to 1.3 GHz Core i7 along with Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz.

Apple today also updated the 13-inch MacBook Air with a 1.8 GHz processor. The audio is also more notable thanks to four speakers.

As mentioned earlier, this iMac Pro monster which will come out by December will have (at least) three versions.

The new Apple iMac Pro releases in December and starts at $4,999 United States dollars. Since this is only a preview, Apple will undoubtedly be showing off more as the time gets closer for a retail release.
