Trump's lawyers say tax returns show little income from Russian sources

It is unclear from the letter whether Trump's lawyers reviewed other documents about his businesses or whether the certified letter relied exclusively on the tax returns. The event accounted for a "substantial portion" of the pageant's $12.2 million in foreign income that year, they said.

The CNN host relayed some of Yates' incredible testimony, including that she made a decision to inform Trump of Flynn's communications with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak after hearing Pence insist the two did not discuss "anything of substance", which was-as Yates knew-a lie.

Mr Trump hit back by dismissing suggestions that his team colluded with Russian Federation as a "hoax", and calling the congressional investigations into Russia's interference in the United States election a taxpayer- funded "charade".

It's a broad loophole for a letter that claims to show that Trump has no income from Russian sources. "A Russian would, for example, fund a Cyprus corporation, which would lend to Trump or his businesses, possibly through other intermediary entities", said Steven Rosenthal, a senior fellow at the Tax Policy Center.

The White House says that it asked for a letter reviewing Mr Trump's tax returns following a request from Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who is leading a congressional committee investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The "exceptions" apparently includes money he received from selling a home to a Russian billionaire in 2008 and from hosting the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow in 2013, both of which he mentioned in yesterday's NBC interview.

The letter states that Trump holds interest in or owns more than 500 "separate entities".

Middlesbrough better equipped for Championship than Sunderland, says Steve Agnew
Not only that, but with 26 goals scored in 36 Premier League games, Middlesbrough have scored the least in the league this season. Boro are keen to keep hold of the powerful defender, but realises that doing so could be impossible following their relegation.

With the issue of the President's ties to Moscow back in the spotlight, Mr Trump took to Twitter to dismiss as "old news" the Senate testimony on Monday by former acting attorney-general Sally Yates about his former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

"I have no investments in Russian Federation, none whatsoever", Trump said Thursday in an interview with NBC News. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) asked Clapper yesterday if he ever found a situation where a Trump business interest in Russian Federation gave him concern, Clapper replied, "Not in the course of the preparation of [last winter's] intelligence community assessment". I have no investments in Russian Federation.

Trump has refused to release his tax returns, a break with decades of tradition. He has no connections to Russian Federation.

Pence said in January that Flynn denied those calls involved sanctions placed on Russian Federation by the Obama administration in response to its election meddling.

Morgan Lewis was honored by Chambers Europe, a division of publisher Chambers & Partners that ranks law firms based in the region.

But in this third exception, the letter asserted, "the amounts are immaterial". Dillon is the same lawyer who vowed at a January 11 press conference that Trump would meaningfully separate himself from the Trump Organization-something that never happened.
