Hours after posting an open letter to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, suspended AAP leader Kapil Mishra on Tuesday went to the CBI office to register a complaint against him and other party leaders. The allegation by Mishra, who was sacked from the AAP dispensation on Saturday night, came amid growing rumblings in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Ruckus ensued at the protest site after the man, identified as Ankit Bhardwaj, allegedly attacked Mishra.
The government had given Mishra 60 days to vacate the official bungalow allotted to him as a minister.
"If there is a discrepancy in the number of votes polled and counted, then we surely have a problem", he said, adding that using Voter-Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) alone will not ensure transparency in the poll process. The accused claimed that he attacked Mishra because he had "betrayed" the party. As police revealed name of the man as Ankit Bhardwaj, both AAP and Bharatiya Janata Party clashed over his political affiliation. The BJP said it was an attempt to shift focus from the Kapil Mishra episode.

Mishra was suspended from the AAP after his startling allegation that he witnessed Kejriwal accept Rs. 2 crore in a suspicious transaction. He submitted a complaint to Anti Corruption Bureau and then submitted three complaints to the CBI in the water tanker scam.
In the morning, before sitting on "satyagraha", Mishra claimed that he was receiving life threats on his phone from worldwide numbers.
