"Malibu", out today (May 11), is the lead single from Miley's forthcoming LP due out later this year, marking the grand reintroduction of the Bangerz pop princess to the world, and ushering in a stark contrast in image and sound - a switch-up which has already earned the "23" twerker some criticism for backing away from hip-hop. The song is off her forthcoming untitled album, which will be released later this year.

"Sometimes I get so scared of what I can't understand, but here I am, next to you / The sky's more blue in Malibu, " she sweetly croons.

This is a very different Miley from her "Wrecking Ball" days, and you won't be able to stop watching.
