An arrest affidavit said White, the University of Texas student accused of stabbing multiple students, one fatally, told police he didn't remember attacking anyone. "This was not a person that had a vendetta against any one particular group".
The stabbing attack does not appear to be part of a larger assault, though authorities were still trying to determine a motive.

Harrison Brown died at the scene, near the gym, after a student with a large hunting knife stabbed at least four people on the University of Texas campus, seriously wounding the others before surrendering to police, authorities said.
A memorial fund has been set up for the Brown family.
Police then asked White if he was hearing voices in his head.
Before the attacks, White was seen in the student activity center "appearing normal".
When she first heard the screaming, Rachel Prichett thought her fellow University of Texas students were just joking around.
"I was sitting at the picnic tables outside [the gym]", said Shamika Kurian, a 19-year-old freshman.
The officer confronted the man, Carter said, drawing his weapon and ordering the man to the ground.
