Pledging to confront anti-Semitism in all its forms and to "never be silent", President Donald Trump on Tuesday denounced as accomplices to "horrible evil" anyone who denies that 6 million Jews were killed during the Holocaust.
Trump is no longer insisting that border wall funds be included in the offer to keep the government funded. A few were noncommittal, but not a single member of the House or Senate representing the region expressed support for the funding request. "But I am not going to be bullied into supporting bad policies in a sort of hijacking exercise with government funding".
Huffman and a bipartisan group of 16 other legislators are urging congressional appropriation committees to include fisheries disaster funding in the spending bill for fishing fleets in Alaska, Washington, Oregon and California, which includes the California crab fleet and the Yurok Tribe salmon fishing fleet. A Republican-led House sued former President Barack Obama in recent years for making the payments to insurers, arguing it hadn't been first approved by Congress.
Just how the president plans to exactly do that is another matter.
If the spending bill does not pass, the government will be forced to halt all spending until spending legislation is approved.
Congress last December passed a continuing resolution to authorize government funding through April 28.
"It's a golden opportunity for Trump to giant-foot-stomp (Democrats) and end this crap of a perennial, never-ending government shutdown paralyzing anything sensible being done with our budget and our economy", Limbaugh told his listeners.

If he won't do it now, Trump must make the Democrats cave on building the wall in the fall.
Trump tweeted Tuesday that his changed position wasn't a change at all, but that ignores the fact that he demanded something that now won't be in the spending bill.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., approved of Trump's apparent shift.
