A 28-year-old man suspected in a fatal shooting March 11 in South Baltimore was arrested Friday in Vernon, Conn., Baltimore police said.
Andrew Nurse, 28, was taken into custody and will be transported back to Baltimore once extradition proceedings have concluded. Vernon police were contacted by the Baltimore City Police Department about a suspect possibly being inside one of the apartments on Park West Drive.
Investigators from Baltimore came up to help Vernon and state police to identify and apprehend Nurse. He is wanted on a charge of first-degree murder. Nurse also had an outstanding warrant from CT charging him with violation of probation, Meier said.

Another EPA contractor admitted he watched pornography on a government computer for 18 years, the inspector general said . Eleven of the remaining families have found new homes and are in the process of moving, according to HUD.
He's now being held in Vernon on bonds totaling $4 million.
He will be presented in Rockville Superior Court in CT on Monday, police said. Baltimore Police hold a warrant charging Nurse with murder.Nurse also had an outstanding warrant from CT charging him with violation of probation.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and began investigating the incident.
