Samsung's Second Galaxy S8 All Screen Design Is All About The 'Infinity'

However, in a recent statement to The Verge, Samsung has confirmed that Bixby Voice would not be available at the time of launch and would only come to the Galaxy smartphones later this spring. Priced starting at $720 for the 5.8-inch S8 and $840 for the 6.2-inch S8 Plus (pictured above), the new devices are being positioned as premium phones created to compete with Apple's iPhone 8, which is expected to come out this fall.

Unlike past Galaxy S sets which took the pricing to about $100 expensive than last year, this year, with the Galaxy S8, Samsung hasn't pushed the price by that much when compared to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge respectively.

But to make sure the Bixby English version works seamlessly, Samsung says the virtual assistant won't be available in the USA market until May.

Two versions of the Galaxy S8, code-named Dream internally, were launched at a media event in NY on March 29, with 6.2-inch (15.75 cm) and 5.8-inch curved screens - the largest to date for Samsung's premium smartphones. In a new post on Twitter, Samsung Mobile India has teased the launch of its flagship phones in India on April 19, 2017. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is also expected to have a facial recognition feature, infinity display, and augmented reality.
