Perez went missing Friday night after the Orofino High School prom.
According to police, Perez was found in good health and was taken into custody without incident on a Runaway charge.
Local police are searching for Kristian Perez, a high school student who was last seen attending his prom at the National Guard Armory in Orofino, Idaho, on Saturday night.
The residence belonged to 26-year-old Tyson Imel.
Police had said in an earlier statement they got a search warrant to scour through Perez's call records and text messages for any information that could be useful in their search.
Harden too hot for Westbrook to handle
Before, after, and in between were dozens of defensive plays so immaculately executed that no coach would dare ask for them. At home, the Rockets have been strong all season and it's hard to see them messing up in the first game of the series.
We are continuing to pursue every tip and lead that comes into our Department regarding Perez and his whereabouts. Again, if you have information, contact Orofino Police at 208-476-5551.
Perez's tuxedo jacket, one shoe and his broken cellphone were recovered near the vehicle of a relative who drove the teen to the prom.
Later in the evening a canine tracking team was summoned to the scene.
The dogs followed his scent down Highway 12, which is close to where the prom was held, but lost the scent at an entrance of a nearby parking lot. Lewiston police are following up that sighting.
