Arsenal fans surrounded the team bus after Monday's 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace, hurling abuse at the players and manager Arsene Wenger.
Andros Townsend opened the scoring in the first half before Yohan Cabaye and Luka Milivojevic's second half goals were sufficient for the Eagles to seal three crucial points.
Some travelling fans told Wenger it was "time to go", also singing "you're not fit to wear the shirt" at the players, as Arsenal were convincingly beaten at relegation-threatened Palace. Not only did we not score but as well we conceded three goals, so overall it's a very disappointing performance.
"It's very worrying and disappointing the way we lost the game".
According to the Mirror, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will receive a two year deal and a £100m war chest to spend this summer on new players.
"I felt that we created quite risky situations but defensively we were exposed at times and offensively we couldn't finish", Wenger said. "It's damaging of course but top four is hard for us, it is a hard defeat and it has consequences on our chances to be in the top four". Arsenal's shocking surrender leaves them in sixth place, lagging seven points behind fourth placed Manchester City. "From the start onwards, in the decisive moments of the game, they were sharper".
South Korea Seeks to Calm Citizens as Anxiety Over War Increases
Whether the phone call between Trump and Xi can ease tensions remains to be seen. The CCTV report was issued shortly after the conversation.
All across the pitch, Arsene Wenger's troops performed pathetically but it was Shkodran Mustafi who was touted as the worst performer in south London.
"Tonight the worry is not me".
"Honestly, I am disappointed", he said after the match, according to Sportskeeda.
Wenger's 20 year spell at Arsenal is seemingly coming to an abrupt end, following a terrible season. "When you are a big club you want to win every game, so that is normal".
"I believe it might be inconvenient to speak about me, it's more distressing to lose the match such as the way in which we lost this one". Ian Wright tweeted after the game that the dressing room was "lost" and that is certainly how it looked. Hopefully we haven't been dragged straight back into it, but judging on that performance tonight, it looks like we have.
