Hariri cited Iran and Hezballah for meddling in regional affairs and expressed fear of a plot to assassinate him. Regional tensions have escalated in recent weeks between Riyadh and Tehran over Mr Hariri's resignation and after a ballistic missile was sacked at the kingdom by Houthi rebels in Yemen, who are also backed by Iran.

Pentagon issues data on sexual assault reports at its bases
DOD statistics released Friday said that the prevalence rates of sexual assault dropped from 6.1 percent of active duty women in 2012 to 4.3 percent in 2016 and from 1.2 percent of active duty men in 2012 to 0.6 percent in 2016. Before FY 2014 (Oct. 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014) the DoD reports that 15% or fewer military members reported a sexual assault. In 2015 there were 164 unrestricted reports and 31 restricted.

Srinagar: Terrorists attack police team; sub-inspector dead, SPO injured
The militants in the auto opened heavy fire in which two cops, including sub-inspector Imran Ahmad Tak, were injured. Reports said that two cops were injured in the firing, however, one of the two succumbed to injuries.
