Moana is going to be brought to life at Walt Disney World!

According to Justjared, Ewan McGregor and Star Wars producer Kathleen Kennedy made the official announcement at Disney's D23 Expo on August 23 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will offer a two-night itinerary where all guests arrive and depart at the same time, similar to Disney Cruise Line.

Visiting the starcruiser's bridge to learn about ship systems and how to operate them, including navigation and defense - skills that may just come in handy during a journey through this adventure-filled galaxy. According to Disney, the hotel is now under development on the south side of Disney's Hollywood Studios - east of World Drive.

That's certainly important, especially with new arrivals coming onto the scene like Apple TV+ and Disney+, both of which are launching in November and are using the makeup of their respective catalogs to reel in subscribers. Also: a massive Millennium Falcon that you can pilot, a make-your-own droid activity, plus Rey, Kylo Ren, Chewbacca and other Star Wars favorites (but, alas, no Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia or Han Solo). The company did note that every room will have a stellar view-a digital screen that looks out into the cosmos. They'll find themselves on missions and meet all kinds of Star Wars creatures.

Epcot will also debut two new nighttime fireworks shows-"Epcot Forever" and "HarmonioUS", the latter described as "the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney park".

In addition to catching some thrills with this evening spectacle, you won't want to miss the first attraction inspired by Mary Poppins, located in the United Kingdom pavilion (renderings pictured below).

CNet also notes that Disney is calling $7 per month an "initial" price, suggesting that the cost will increase as the catalog grows.

The Walt Disney Studios' premiere loyalty program, Disney Movie Rewards, is becoming Disney Movie Insiders this September.

According to the crew, scripts are now in progress and filming is set to begin next year. The new area will feature a Spider-Man ride where comic book fans will be hurling spiderwebs at spider bots according to USA Today.

The modernizing of Disney Parks didn't stop at new rides and lands. The "shop-in-shop" will feature an enhanced Disney assortment of more than 450 items, including more than 100 products that were previously only available at Disney retail locations.
