Google Pixel 4 will feature multiple rear cameras

"Well, since there seems to be some interest, here you go!" The phone is covered by a protective case meant to hide its identity, so we don't get to see the Google logo on the back of the handset. Drop a comment and let us know! The site does, however, say that according to their source the phone did have two front cameras and a large "forehead". It would make sense for Google to jump on the latest smartphone biometrics trend.

Under their Twitter account handle @madebygoogle, the Pixel maker has revealed the first official images of the Google Pixel 4.

What's completely unclear is what that extra sensor might be.

The new image falls in line with the recent design of the Pixel 4 which was teased by the company recently with the square camera cutout for the dual cameras.

In a somewhat unprecedented move, Google has partially revealed the design of its upcoming Pixel 4 months ahead of official release. The new feature that Google is testing will help adjust this excessive Blue colour of the screen, adapting automatically to ambient light just like the human vision system.

It could also be that this is just a different sensor.

Except for an all-new single textured designed back and a square-shaped camera arrangement on the back, the teaser image does offer any more insights. This is now the honour of the Huawei P30 Pro, but Google could be coming for that crown with the latest Pixel smartphone.

Manufacturers in Vietnam buy extrusions from China to make doors, walls and other parts of structures. China has said United States demands are so extensive that they violate its sovereignty.

The camera will include the spectral sensor along with an LED flash.

9to5Google speculates that we're looking at the Pixel 4 XL in this image, given its size relative to the user's fingers. This might confirm the in-display fingerprint scanner rumor. What'll Google use instead? Similarly, Samsung Galaxy S9 series of smartphones came with the feature called "Adaptive Display".

The Pixel 4 will have at least two rear cameras. It does have three design teams working on designs of the Pixel 4 after all and could ditch this prototype if it proves unpopular.

The issue isn't only that Apple and Google have concluded that it is, actually, hip to be square: it's the domino impact that their designs have on the rest of the industry.

It's not clear to me from this image whether the back will be matte or glossy, but there's clearly only one texture here, except for the camera bump.

Otherwise, we can't tell too much on the hardware front from this perspective.
