Bristol Palin to Join 'Teen Mom OG' Cast

Bristol Palin is quite excited to embark on her next endeavor as the newest face of MTV's "Teen Mom OG". When Bristol gave birth to Tripp, whom she shares with Levi Johnston, she was 18 years old.

Bristol Palin rose to prominence in 2008, when she was 17 and pregnant during her mother's vice presidential campaign. Five years later, Palin became engaged to a former marine named Dakota Meyer, but then cancelled that engagement too, just before announcing she was expecting a second child with him.

It is safe to say she's transformed from a teen mom to a strong woman and a mother of three, proud of her big, handsome family.

A source close to production confirmed to ET on Thursday that the 27-year-old reality TV personality has signed on as a regular on the show. Palin also appeared as an unscripted teenager in the drama series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager". Meyer filed for divorce from Palin in February, 2018, but their now relationship status is unknown, as Palin still posts pictures of Meyer on her Instagram account regularly.

According to a July 19 report by Us Weekly Magazine, Farrah Abraham doesn't care who replaces her on the MTV reality series, and says that no one will be as good as she was on the show.

"Who cares! Sorry I'm dealing with a family loss right now".

As of now, shell be joining Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood and their significant others on the hit MTV show.

The day before Farrah and daughter Sophia mourned the death of their beloved Pomeranian pup Blue. "It took hearing your heartbeat for a positive pregnancy test to really mean anything to me".

Teen Mom OG's season return last fall saw record ratings for MTV.

Abraham claims the show let her go because she is an adult entertainer.
