Wenger lays down the law to Sanchez?

The Chile global is entering the final year of his deal at Emirates Stadium and has stalled on signing a new contract with the Gunners, which has given the impression he wants to leave the club.

Wenger, speaking on Thursday, has completely ruled out Sanchez leaving for another club and insists the striker "will accept" his decision.

When asked whether he felt Sanchez's illness is a convenient excuse to prolong his absence from the club, Wenger said: "Your job is to be suspicious and is built on mistrust and my job is built on trust!"

Alexis Sanchez has left his Arsenal team-mates convinced he wants to leave the club as he returned to training on Tuesday.

"The transparent society is very pushy but we have to resist a little bit, as much as we can".
