Captain Marvel Will Feature a Favorite Marvel Villain Opposite Brie Larson

Captain Marvel is taking it back to the '90s. The crowd erupted at the ideas Feige presented, especially knowing that Nick Fury would have both of his eyes, giving audiences some idea of when he received the injury.

Along with the image, Feige teased a few new details about the film. What we didn't expect was what Kevin Feige said next.

Marvel has previously used de-aging techniques in their films, making Michael Douglas look younger for a flashback in Ant-Man and Robert Downey Jr. look younger for a flashback in Captain America: Civil War, and has also aged Hayley Atwell for Captain America: Winter Soldier, so we wonder if either of these techniques will be implemented. Davners was created in 1968 as Ms. Marvel, and gained her super powers in an accident that spliced her genetics with the alien Kree hero Captain Marvel.

The most surprising Captain Marvel reveal had nothing to do with eyes or the '90s, though, as Marvel also announced that the villains in the movie will be none other than the Skrulls, a race of shape-changing aliens with gross chins and green skin.

If you needed proof that the Marvel and DC "war" is nothing but a construct made by overzealous fans, you can see it here.

Hulk Speaks In Comic-Con's Awesome 'Thor: Ragnarok' Trailer
If you need a buddy comedy with your superheroes, it looks like Thor: Ragnarok is for you. A photo of the poster was revealed on Twitter by Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park.

The photos show a mock-up Larson in action, with a leather-tight jumpsuit in red and blue with some metallic accents.

As far as her playing as big of a character as Captain Marvel, Larson revealed that she feels great responsibility.

And really, everything I've just mentioned in the last two sentences - with the exception of the duo of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck directing - equalled the sum of everything we knew about this movie.

Captain Marvel was penned by Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Meg LaFauve (Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur) and is scheduled for release on March 8, 2019.
