On June 21, Kushner submitted another addendum; this one listed the meeting he attended-along with Donald Trump Jr. and Paul Manafort, Donald Trump's campaign manager at the time-with a Russian lawyer who Trump Jr. believed had damaging information about Hillary Clinton.

Kushner's lawyers failed to disclose the meeting on his security clearance form.

Kushner's lawyers told Yahoo News that the omission of the meeting with Veselnitskaya was "inadvertent", and said a Kushner staffer had prematurely hit the "send" button on the SF-86 form before it had been fully completed.

The legal team managed to meet with Trump on Tuesday without the aides who are often by his side.

The U.S. intelligence community alleged that Russia meddled in the U.S. presidential race a year ago and connections existed between the Russian government and the Trump campaign, which the Kremlin has denied. Trump has repeatedly denied that his team colluded with Russian Federation.

Though Spicer maintained that the meeting was only about "adoption and the Magnitsky Act", Trump Jr. told Sean Hannity last Tuesday he had "never even heard of" the Magnitsky Act "before, you know, that day". President Trump will visit the display as an effort to highlight his campaign promise to focus on hiring and buying American.
