In a story that is quite heartbreaking, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and return man Lucky Whitehead is now in need of some help.

Lucky Whitehead revealed that his gorgeous American XL Bully pup Blitz had been stolen from his Texas home while he was out of town last week.

He said he was in Florida on July 9, when a friend who was pet-sitting sent him texts asking if he had sent someone to pick up his dog.

According to Spotrac, Whitehead is slated to make $615,000 during the 2017 National Football League campaign, the final year of his initial three-year contract.

UAE denies Washington Post report it orchestrated Qatar hack
Qatar said in late May that hackers had posted fake remarks by the emir, an explanation rejected by Gulf states. Anwar Gargash, the UAE's minister of state for foreign affairs, also claimed the story was false .

Whitehead's friend was caring for the dog at Whitehead's house when the dog was taken, Whitehead said. With just 11 posts, the dog has almost 5,700 followers now.

Whitehead also said he has received several calls from a number demanding ransom money and that if anyone knows has more information to contact him. Whitehead refused to write the $10,000 check but had agreed to pay an undisclosed amount of cash as long as Blitz was OK.

"If they have any piece of a heart, just give it to someone else to give back to me".
