President Donald Trump speaks during a rally, Wednesday, June 21, 2017, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

'If Russia was working so hard on the 2016 Election, it all took place during the Obama Admin.

US officials have warned that Russian Federation is likely to carry out similar cyber and influence campaigns in the future in an effort to disrupt or sway elections across Europe and the U.S.

But a member of the president's private legal team, Jay Sekulow, has said he believes Trump is not under investigation because the team has not received notice from Mueller.

Trump's frustration on the Russian Federation issue has mounted - and occasionally boiled over on Twitter - as multiple parallel investigations continue both inside and outside of Congress.

'Why did the DNC REFUSE to turn over its Server to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and still hasn't? Noting that Russia's overall goal was to shake confidence in the United States' ability to have an election, Earnest said it would have been "irresponsible" for the administration to have taken more active public steps expressing worry about Russia's actions.

President Donald Trump rattled off several tweets Thursday that called the alleged Russian hacking of the DNC a "Dem HOAX", and at the same time pointed a finger at the Obama administration for failing to stop this alleged interference by Russia in the 2016 election.

Specifically, Johnson was questioned about whether the DHS helped the DNC after learning about possible Russian hacking. One last shot at me.

In what has become typical fashion, President Trump blamed the Obama administration for failing to "stop" Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Indeed, it is only by virtue of Falcinelli’s prowess in the final third that Crotone still remains in contention to survive. In Romelu Lukaku, Koeman has a player with the capability of firing Everton to far headier heights than seventh place.

"You've got to think about the fact that one of the candidates is already saying the election is going to be rigged", said Johnson.

"Prior to Election Day, I also personally reviewed with the CEO of The Associated Press its long-standing election-day reporting process, including the redundancies and safeguards in its systems", Johnson said.

President Trump fired off several morning tweets Thursday about the Russian Federation probe.

The president has faced harsh criticism by some who claim he threatened to undermine the investigation by firing Mr Comey.

Special counsel Robert Mueller has finished his meeting with leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committee in a secure room in the Capitol.

The investigation has shadowed Mr Trump from the outset, though he has denied any ties to Russian Federation or knowledge of any campaign co-ordination with Moscow. But that's not what Johnson said.

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence committee, Rep. Adam Schiff, asked Johnson if former FBI Director Jim Comey would have opened such an inquiry without an evidence for doing so.

Samuel Liles, the Department of Homeland Security's acting director of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis Cyber Division, told the Senate panel that vote tallying mechanisms were not affected and that the hackers appeared to be scanning for vulnerabilities - which Liles likened to walking down the street and looking at homes to see who might be inside.
