Forecast: Afternoon Showers May Darken The First Day Of Summer

Adjust Comment Print

Expect a handful of scattered showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm overnight with a mild low in the mid 60s. However, the very warm and stuffy air combined with the approaching front quickly puts us at risk for afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely for tomorrow night, with temperatures holding in the 70s and high humidity. There could be some brief torrential downpours as some of the tropical moisture from the remnants of Cindy gets entrained into the storm system. Typically, the heaviest rains are near and to the right of the storm center as it moves along and that certainly looks to be the case with TS Cindy. Showers will be possible early on Tuesday with cooler temperatures with front south of the area.

The day starts out sunny, with clouds increasing for the afternoon. Highs will drop into the mid 80s on Sunday. It comes surging back on Friday along with summer warmth with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Hazy sun and clouds can be expected Friday morning, with temperatures quickly warming into the 80s by noon.

Saturday: Partly sunny with a few showers possible mainly in the morning.

She posted a photo showcasing her handsome baby bump with the caption, "We would like to share our love and happiness". The power couple already have one child, five-year-old Blue Ivy , whom they had after suffering a miscarriage.

SUNDAY: More spots than not stay dry. Readings are in the middle 70s near 80 degrees.

With less rain and clouds, it will be hotter and, of course, remain humid. Wednesday brings plentiful sunshine, and some warming returns. We're hoping for some sun to come out in the afternoon, with highs in the 80s. Humidity levels are still in check.

Have a great weekend!
